Join PACT as we discuss the role technology and data plays in the future of cancer research and cancer care, and how innovation will help find a cure for cancer in the next 5 years.

Our featured speaker will be Howard Krein, MD, Chief Medical Office of StartUp Health, a global organization that includes the world’s largest portfolio of digital health companies, spanning 12 countries. As CMO, Dr. Krein acts as a strategic clinical advisor responsible for shaping StartUp Health’s moonshot themes to help improve the health of more than 5 billion people by 2035. Dr. Krein also serves as Senior Director of Health Policy & Innovation at the Sidney Kimmel Cancer Center.

Wayne Kimmel, Managing Partner of SeventySix Capital and investor and Board member of StartUp Health will be interviewing Dr. Krein.

Additional speakers include:

-    Chi Van Dang, MD, Director of the Abramson Cancer Center at Penn Medicine, who was recently appointed to President Obama's Cancer Moonshot Blue Ribbon Panel of the National Cancer Advisory Board, which will help shape the direction of Vice President Biden's Cancer Moonshot initiative.

-    Angela Bradbury, MD, Executive Director of the Abramson Cancer Center Telegenetics Program, using technology to enhance cancer care in the era of precision medicine through telephone, real-time videoconferencing and web-based education and informed consent for genetic testing.

-    Open Health Network, a smart mobile health platform originally created to serve cancer patients  that enables patient-service organizations to reach their constituency efficiently, with cutting-edge mobile apps. Open Health Network tools are used to reach newly diagnosed lung cancer patients and their families, and educate them on latest genomic and proteomic testing tools, and personalized cancer therapies.

-    PheoParaTroopers, an organization serving cancer patients that used the Open Health Network platform to create the first global validated data bank collecting patient-contributed data and helping researchers identify the drivers of disease progression.
